2016 High Plains Nutrition & Management Roundtable

Please save the date for the next High Plains Nutrition & Management Roundtable, hosted by Colorado State University at the Washington County Event Center and CSU's ECRC research facility near Akron, CO on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016.  The theme for this year's meeting is "A Real World Look at the Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD)" with key speakers:  Dr. Dee Griffin from TAMU, Dr. Tom Noffsinger from PAC Group, and Dr. Jon Schoonmaker from Purdue University.  The highlight of each meeting is the graduate student poster competition, where current beef nutrition and management research is presented by the animal science graduate students from CSU, UW, and UNL.  The meeting will be worth at least 4 continuing education (CE) credits through ARPAS.  If you are a graduate student, instructor, producer, or industry professional who is interested in becoming an ARPAS member and acquiring continuing education credits, you can also take the exam the day of the meeting.  To learn more and for a complete list of speakers, registration, and other information, click on the "Meeting Info" tab.
